1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 garlic clove cloves, minced
1 teaspoon Cajun or blackened seasoning
4 eco-friendly onions, chopped
Directions
Inside a large saucepan, bring the broth, milk, butter, pepper and salt to some boil. Gradually stir in grits. Reduce heat. Cover and prepare for 12-14 minutes or until thickened, stirring from time to time. Stir in cheese until melted. Put aside and warm.
Inside a large skillet, prepare bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove to sponges having a slotted spoon drain, reserving 4 teaspoons drippings. Saute the shrimp, garlic clove and seasoning in drippings until shrimp turn pink. Serve with grits and sprinkle with onions.
